What is Anodyne laser treatment?
Anodyne™ therapy uses infrared light of a clinically proven wavelength to increase local circulation, reduce pain and decrease inflammation. It is a noninvasive, low risk alternative to drug therapy to address pain and poor circulation.
The mechanism of action of Anodyne for pain relief is a local increase in nitric oxide associated with using the wavelength 890nm. Nitric oxide is a signaling mechanism in the human body. Research in nitric oxide has been linked to:
- Increased local circulation
- Reduction of pain
- Reduction in inflammation
- Collagen synthesis
