Aaron joined the Taylor Rehab team in February 2019. He graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wingate University after receiving his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Catawba College. Aaron discovered the profession of physical therapy through being a patient himself following a sports related injury when he was competing in collegiate baseball. Aaron understands what it is like to be on the receiving end of physical therapy interventions and he has a passion for helping others return to their lives in the way that he was once helped by his physical therapist. Prior to pursuing his Doctorate, Aaron worked as a PT tech in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he developed a passion for treating a variety of patient populations. Aaron is certified in Dry Needling, and has also continued his education in Spinal Manipulation through the American Academy of Manual Therapy (AAMT). Aaron believes that you should always continue to learn every day, and he plans to continue attending further courses throughout his career.
Aaron is a Mooresville, North Carolina local. His family established roots here in 1941 when his great-grandfather relocated to the area from Asheville. After multiple family recommendations based on personal experiences as prior physical therapy patients, Aaron chose Taylor Rehab as his 15-week clinical rotation to complete his DPT degree at Wingate University. Aaron enjoys traveling, all sports, coaching, weight lifting and the outdoors.
